Clare and the kids turned up with my clothes about half an hour after Iain and Paul had left. Kate's new place is fantastic - a lovely first home! We get a guided tour and a cup of tea before we set off on the 10 minute walk to Libby's house to see Emily and the new baby.When we get there Emily and the baby aren't there, but they will be round later. Clive and Teresa (Granny and Grandad) have turned up with lunch, and Clare's Grandmother Alma, who is living with Libby, is also there.
We get a superb lunch and spend time chatting before heading off to the beach with Kate, Colin, Maddy, Martha and Grandad! Faces are made in the sand and holes dug, Amy even decided it was warm enough to be in her swimming costume!
On the way back Isobel and Joseph have their pictures taken with some stone lions!
On our return to Libby's house, Emily and baby are there (but not Jon), cake and bubbly are served to toast the newborn!
A lovely day, after a brief stop at Kate's we go back to Granny and Grandad's for some sleep!
