I decided to cycle with the kids to school this morning before going out on a warm up ride for Saturday. It's not the most children friendly route to school, lots of roads to cross, narrow pavements, busy traffic. But the kids enjoy it! Clare sees the kids in to school (she had been following behind with Amy), as I head off towards Ware.
It's a nice morning, bright and calm, good cycling conditions. My scab is at that flaky, nice to pick bits off stage, so it's less painfull today. A good 37 mile ride at just under 17mph before I spend the rest of the day working from home.
